Costume design

the ideas for the costumes have been influence with such films as

The bank job

From these two clips we have two styles of costume both of which are needed. they include the Classy style with such items of clothing as suits.
then of course there is the stereotypical bank robber i.e (2.15mins in) with ski masks and dressed in causal clothes.

Music

Another key feature to the genre itself is the music played throughout. A couple of examples of these are below, i have picked these due to the fact i believe these will also fit into our piece.

Our Pitch

The opening begins with a shot of a store or bank, the music starts quite calm and quiet, but kicks in, in the next shot when the bunch or robbers burst out of the door of the venue, one man is holding a bag of money. After running out of the store, all of the men split up and run. The opening then consists of following each of the men while they try to get away, we see as one by one they eventually get to safety.

Feedback

The place the men decide to rob will need to be a place that keeps a lot of money, in order to stay within the conventions of the genre.

Expanding Ideas

There could be decoy robbers, who run out of the bank and are chased in order to divert attention from the main robber who is able to avoid attention and walk out with the money, however, he is spotted by an undercover police officer who knows that he is involved. The officer follows him down the street and arrests him.
